Submissions Call: Zodiac Tales

We are looking for 12 stories based (loosely) on the twelve signs of the zodiac. These should be flash fiction - no more than 500 words. We're looking for stories that come at the zodiac concept from a new and surprising angle. Make me laugh, make me gasp, make me go, "Woah, that's clever!". ;)

These will be used in a new project that the Raven is launching in the new year. We'll be paying NZ$15 per accepted story.

Please, send me a clean manuscript.

I'm not overly fussy about the form in which it comes, but please keep it simple. Simple font, 12 point, 1.5 or double spaced, no fancy flourishes or coloured text or pretty borders. Format should be .doc, .docx, .rtf or .txt. PLEASE proof-read it, or get it proof-read before you send it. Spelling and grammar errors will make me much less inclined to use your story unless it totally blows my mind. Simple, clean, correct.
